Patrick Wiedemann joins executive board

Patrick Wiedemann (39) is joining the executive board of Reverse Logistics GmbH (RLG) with effect from 1 June 2010 as the company's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
As CFO, Wiedemann will be in charge of finance, risk management, controlling, legal and taxes group-wide at RLG and its subsidiaries. He succeeds Uwe Helmerking, who left the company at his own request on 30 November 2009, but stayed on board in an advisory capacity until the new CFO took over.

After finishing a degree in industrial engineering in 1993, Patrick Wiedemann started out as a manager in production and controlling at Hilti GmbH. At the end of 1996 he took charge of the controlling and IT departments for Hilti in China, and one year later was given responsibility for the entire finance department. In 1998 Wiedemann joined the globally active display technology partner Data Modul AG where he was head of controlling for the entire corporate group. In 2001 he joined the company's management board as CFO, and was in charge of finance, accounting, controlling, human resources, quality management and contracts.

“We are pleased to welcome Patrick Wiedemann on board. He has significant international experience and is a versatile finance expert with extremely good contacts in the capital market. He is thus highly qualified to oversee the further growth of RLG's business,” said RLG managing director Dr. Gerd Slotta.
